This service design project focused on supporting students who are searching for their first job. Through research and exploration, we developed a digital service concept aimed at reducing uncertainty and making the entry into the application process more accessible.

The project began with an open exploration of the challenges students face when searching for their first job. Through qualitative interviews and cultural probes, we identified a recurring barrier: many students struggle to recognize their own skills, which often creates hesitation and insecurity at the start of the application process.

These insights led to a central design question:
How might we empower students to recognize and develop their skills in order to lower the threshold for entering the application process?

Working as a team of three, we translated our findings into an Ideation Workshop, where ideas were structured, discussed, and further developed. The outcomes formed the foundation for a digital service concept designed to support students throughout the early stages of their job search.

The concept was then translated into a Figma prototype, allowing us to test assumptions and gather feedback. The focus throughout the project was on translating research insights into clear design decisions and creating a service with practical potential.
